Thrive
A mobile app that helps older adults stay safe, healthy, and connected in the home they love.
Role
UX/UI Designer

The Problem
Aging in place sounds simple: stay in your home, maintain your independence, keep living life on your own terms. But in practice it means managing a growing list of medications, identifying safety risks before they become accidents, and fighting the creeping isolation that comes when routines change and social circles shrink. There is no single tool that addresses all three. People are left with scattered information, overwhelmed families, and systems that were built for institutions rather than individuals. Thrive was designed to change that.

What Thrive does
Health
Thrive lets users store their medical history, current medications, allergies, insurance details, and doctor contacts all in one place. Before an appointment, during a pharmacy visit, or in an emergency.

Safety
Users walk through a guided room-by-room checklist and get practical, plain-language recommendations for making their home safer. Local vendors are surfaced directly in the app so that going from “I need a grab bar” to “someone is coming to install it” takes minutes.

Social
Thrive matches users to local activities based on what they enjoy, like community events nearby, and gently nudges them to reach out to people they care about. The weekly check-in keeps a pulse on how connected they’re feeling.
